Dishman Pharmaceuticals & Chemicals Ltd was incorporated in 1983, is a research-driven pharmaceutical company promoted by Mr. Janmejay Vyas and family. DPCL is primarily engaged in Contract Research and Manufacturing Service (CRAMS) and manufacturing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API). DPCL also offers range of antiseptics, disinfectants and other Vitamins. Over the years, DPCL has grown inorganically through acquisition of companies based in Europe and organically through expansion of its API manufacturing capacity in India. These include acquisition of 100% stake in Carbogen Amcis AG (CA), a Swiss-based company having high-end contract research capabilities and Vitamin-D business from Solvay Pharmaceuticals BV (Solvay) with its plant in the Netherlands. DPCL had also set up manufacturing facilities in China.
