Strides Pharma Science through its venture partner Strides Vivimed Pte Ltd, Singapore has received USFDA approval for Albendazole tablets in the strength of 200 mg. The drug is used for treatment of certain infections caused by tapeworm. The drug is also the generic version of Amneal Pharmaceuticals Inc’s Albenza tablets. According to market estimates, the drug has an annual sales potential of USD 100 million.
