Omega Biotech Ltd is incorporated in the year 1994 by Mr. Rajiv Gupta as a pharmaceutical drugs manufacturer with its factory located in Ghaziabad. In 2004, OBL strategically shifted its factory to Roorkee in Uttrakhand to avail excise duty and income tax benefits extended by Government of Uttrakhand. The company manufactures four kinds of products i.e. Tablets, Capsules, Syrups and Ointments and serve clientele broadly in three market segments constituting Government orders, Contractual orders by Drugs marketing companies and private wholesale market. More than 50% of the business comes from private wholesale markets.
