Coral Drugs Pvt Ltd was originally incorporated in December 1993 under the name of Coral Tex Knit Pvt Ltd The company commenced its commercial operations in 1996 and got its current name in July 1997. CDP is currently being managed by Mr Binay Kumar Bhuwania, Mr Rohit Bhuwania and Ms Meena Bhuwania. CDP is engaged in the manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) at its manufacturing facility located in Sonipat, Haryana, for various therapy areas including anti-asthmatics, oncology, hormones, etc.

CDP directly caters to pharmaceuticals manufacturing entities in both the domestic and overseas markets. The main raw material, ie, numerous Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients Intermediates (APIIs) is procured from China and other requirements like chemicals and solvents are purchased from domestic uppliers. The company has necessary certifications and approvals including WHO GMP certification, Drug Control Authority in India, United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) and EU certification for European nations. Besides CDP, the group consists of Coral Chemicals Pvt Ltd which has business operations in similar line of business.
