Kusum Group of companies has set up a greenfield manufacturing plant in Pithampur in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh. The new plant was set up in 4.88 acres with state-of-the-art and complies with Current Good Manufacturing Practice and European Quality standards.
The plant has a capacity of 390 million units to manufacture different types of tablets, capsules, sachet products and effervescent tablets which require manufacturing condition of 18 per cent to 60 per cent relative humidity.
The company also plans to increase the production in another phase with an investment of ₹ 1,200 million.
