Intas Pharmaceuticals planning an expansion programme at its bulk drug manufacturing unit at Matoda village in Ahmedabad district of Gujarat. The project will come up at its existing plant and capacity expansion programme envisage increasing capacity from 6,300 kgs/yr to 24,079 kgs/yr. The project involves an investment of Rs.40 million. As of July 2015, the project is awaiting environmental clearance.
