IOL Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals is planning to expand its production unit at Fategarh Channa in Mansa Road in Barnala Taluk in Sangrur district of Punjab. The project involves setting up of production facilities to expand production of Ethyl Acetate, Acetic Anhydride, Ibuprofen, Monochloroacetic acid, Acetyl Chloride, Rabiprazole Sodium, Diclofenac Sodium besides other intermediates.
Land required for the project is already available. The project cost is estimated at ₹ 2050 million. The total production capacity of the unit will be expanded from 526 tpm to 654 tpm.
