About the Company :
Umedica Laboratories Pvt Ltd was incorporated in the year 1982 by Late Mr Umed Doshi and is part of the Amoli Group of Companies. ULPL is engaged in manufacturing and export of pharmaceutical formulations in the form of injectable, tablets, capsules, suspensions, liquid/dry syrups catering to therapeutic segments namely non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAIDs), antibiotics, anti-fungal, analgesics, anti-viral, anti-tuberculosis agents, anti-histamines, psychotropics and multi-vitamins amongst others.
ULPL is primarily focusing on exports market which contributed around 75.84% of the total revenue during FY16 (92% during FY15). Exports are primarily to the semi-regulated markets of South-East Asia, Africa, Central America and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region. ULPL sells under its own brands in the export markets. ULPL has its own manufacturing facility located at Vapi (Gujarat), the facility is WHO-GMP certified. In addition to own unit, ULPL has one loan license unit engaged in manufacturing products of formulation for antibiotic segment. Furthermore, the company also has its in-house Research & Development facility at Turbhe, Navi Mumbai.
