The entity would undertake manufacturing of penems upto the non-sterile stage and supply most of its output to the Aurobindo Group who would carry out the final process of sterilization. SLS is a JV formed by Aurobindo Pharma Limited (18% stake), Trident Chemphar Limited (8% stake) and Mr. V.S. Nagi Reddy, Mr. G.C. Baki Reddy & Mr. A.S. Prasad (74% stake, collectively). The company has a production facility located in Ramky Pharma City, Parwada Mandal, Vishakhapatnam, A.P. SLS also proposes to undertake the construction of a similar facility to focus on the domestic/other non-regulated markets
