Alembic Pharma plans expansion programme at Panelav unit

Alembic Pharma is planning to expand its existing unit in Panelav village in Halol Tehsil in Panchmahal district of Gujarat. The project involves expanding active pharmaceutical ingredient production capacity from 47 mtpa to 300 mtpa with an investment of Rs. 320 million. After expansion, the plant will produce Candesartan Cilexetil, Celecoxib, Irbesartan, Losartan Potassium, MEF Chloride, Moclobemide, Olmesartan, Ropinorole, Valsartan etc.,
