The approved Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) is bioequivalent and therapeutically equivalent to the reference listed drug product Aygestin of Duramed Pharmaceuticals. It is used in the treatment of endometrosis, uterine bleeding caused by abnormal hormone levels and secondary amenorrhea.
