Emcure Pharmaceuticals had been barred exports from its Hinjewadi manufacturing plant in the western state of Maharashtra. According to USFDA, the manufacturing plant does not meet some of USFDA stringent standards. The company has nine manufacturing plants, including one in the United States, and exports to a number of countries including the US, Europe, Brazil and Japan, according to its website.
